A COVID-19 alert has been issued for the Saskatoon Stonegate Walmart.

Saskatchewan Health Authority is notifying the public that an individual, who tested COVID-19 positive, visited the south-central Saskatoon business when the individual was likely infectious on both September 6 and Sept. 7.

The person visited the photo centre kiosk from 9:20-9:50 a.m. on the Sunday, followed by the men’s wear and frozen food and deli section from 12:30-1 p.m. On the Monday, the individual re-visited the photo kiosk and men’s wear department from 9:15-10 a.m.

Saskatchewan public health officials are advising individuals who were at this business location on the specified dates, during the specified times, to immediately self-isolate if they have had, or currently have, symptoms of COVID-19 and to call HealthLine 811 to arrange for testing. All other individuals who are not experiencing symptoms should self-monitor for 14 days. It is important to note that individuals may develop symptoms from two to 14 days following exposure to the virus that causes COVID-19.
