As we say goodbye to another beautiful July in Saskatoon, it’s the perfect time to head out and enjoy some of the awesome activities the city has to offer.
1. Grillin’ for Gratitude
Head out to this week’s Street Stall Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to grab some tasty food and help raise funds for Sum Theatre Saskatoon by purchasing a burger or hotdog at the Grillin’ For Gratitude barbecue tent.
2. Outdoor concert
If you’ve been missing live music, head out to Agar’s Corner on Saturday from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and enjoy the musical stylings of The Brothers G, Apollo Cruz and The Local Group. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased upon arrival — but only 100 tickets are available, so make sure not to be late.
3. Hockey night out
If you’ve missed hockey or heading out to the bar, you might as well hit two birds with one stone this Saturday at the Capitol Music Club. The fun starts at 4 p.m. and includes drink specials and prizes. Seating is limited, so call to reserve a table before it’s too late.
4. Guided meditation
Join the Saskatoon Buddha Meditation Centre virtually on Sunday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. for their free weekly Zoom meditation class. All you need to do is log in to Zoom using this meeting ID: 681 200 1000.
5. Fun at the ranch
For a day of adventure in the sunshine, head out to Champetre County on Friday between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. for hikes, games and much more. Tickets are $10 each and must be reserved in advance by calling 306-258-4635.
