Connor Robinson was dealt to Colorado last week for a second-round 2020 draft pick, and a first-rounder in 2021.

But That’s Not All

The Rush will have six more picks after that opening round — 26th overall (second round), 43rd overall (third round), 46th overall (third round), 64th overall (fourth round), 79th overall (fifth round) and 92nd overall (sixth round).

They’ve traded away picks slotted at No. 28, 34, 35 and 48.

Stockpiling Picks

Saskatchewan’s recent deals have them holding five first-round draft picks between this year and next. Rush general manager Derek Keenan figures that’s important, given potential future league expansion and the fact that the team has 12 unrestricted free-agents after next season.

Local Goalie Has a Shot

Saskatchewan Swat product Laine Hruska, a goaltender, could go as early as the first two rounds on Thursday.

The 19-year-old ball-stopper, a former Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League rookie of the year, played in Ontario with the Whitby Steelhawks this past season, and should be one of the first goaltenders off the board.

Draft-Day Particulars

The draft will be conducted online, starting at 5 p.m. Saskatchewan time. The first three rounds will unfold live on the NLL’s Facebook and YouTube accounts, and the entire draft can be watched free on B/R Live.
