The Saskatchewan Rattlers’ offensive difficulties continued Saturday afternoon in St. Catharines.

The Rattlers, who are last in Canadian Elite Basketball League scoring with just 77.5 points per game, lost 88-66 to the Edmonton Stingers. That drops their Summer Series record to 1-3.

Saskatchewan’s offensive totals have dropped with every game they’ve played: They opened with a 96-79 win over Niagara, and have lost three straight since then — 87-77 to Fraser Valley, 87-71 to Guelph and then Saturday’s setback against Edmonton.

Kemy Osse collected 15 points for the defending-champion Rattlers, who also got 12 from Kris Joseph.

Xavier Moon picked up 25 points and four assists for the Stingers, who led 44-33 at halftime.

The Rattlers return to action Tuesday, when they play the Hamilton Honey Badgers at 3 p.m. Saskatchewan time.
