SHA warns of possible COVID-19 exposure at Saskatoon gym

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is notifying the public that an individual who tested COVID-19 positive visited a gym when the individual was likely infectious.

The individual visited Planet Fitness in Market Mall on Sept. 15 and 16 between 6 and 7:15 p.m.

Public Health officials are advising individuals who were at this location on the specified date during the specified time to immediately self-isolate if they have had or currently have symptoms of COVID-19 and to call HealthLine 811 to arrange for testing. The SHA advises all other individuals who are not experiencing symptoms should self-monitor for 14 days, noting individuals may develop symptoms from two to 14 days following exposure to the virus that causes COVID-19.
